Bio

Here I Go Again, the recent EP by David George, is available April 14th. After the critically acclaimed full-length, Radiant Man (UniGlobe 2016), George began working on new material and has decided, in this new era of music, to independently release three EP’s over the next year. Here I Go Again finds its inspiration from the 1970’s pre-Americana singer/songwriter John Denver. Five stripped down songs relying on nothing more than an acoustic guitar, are accentuated with lush harmonies and a nice touch of a string ensemble.

In 2013 David George got a call from John Fogerty’s manager asking him to join John’s band. It was the gig of a lifetime performing with John as well as the band of all bands Kenny Aronoff, James Intveld, David Santos, and Bob Malone with appearances on “Letterman,” “Leno,” and “The View.” George also shared the stage with another legend, Paul McCartney when the band was asked to perform at a private concert in Las Vegas!

David George is currently working on a musical, Christmas Ain’t A Drag, he recently wrote, produced and starred in. Destined to be a timeless classic inspired by the music of the big band era, David George’s Christmas Ain’t A Drag is an uplifting new musical celebrating the love, romance, and mystery people search for at Christmas.

George’s early musical memories are filled with the radio blaring the song of the day on long family road trips. “I was raised on big music from the Beatles to Led Zeppelin and love turning it up and disappearing in it!” It wasn’t until a chance meeting with the Indigo Girls while living in Los Angeles that inspired George to go out and buy an acoustic guitar sending him down the path to rock and roll.

George’s songs have been heard on many television series and movies, as well as at Arrowhead Stadium as the 2015-16 season touchdown song (“Hey, Kansas City!”) for The Kansas City Chiefs.

David George has shared the stage with The Temptations, The Lumineers, Robert Earl Keen, Jacob Dylan, Styx, Art Alexakis, REO Speedwagon, and Don Felder (Eagles) as well as performed at Boulevardia, The Crossroads Music Festival, MidCoast Takeover, South By Southwest, The Folk Alliance Conference and Bratfest.
